Wire & Cable Guangzhou postpones its 2022 edition

With covid-19 containment efforts continuing across various provinces in China, the 13th edition of Wire & Cable Guangzhou has been put on hold. The fair, which was originally scheduled to take place from 22 – 24 June 2022, has been pushed back in support of the local government’s virus control measures. The new dates for the rescheduled fair will be announced at the earliest opportunity.

Power grid investment is capturing attention ahead of Wire & Cable Guangzhou this June

Wherever there is investment, opportunities will inevitably follow. That is the thinking behind this year’s Wire & Cable Guangzhou, which is set to take place against a backdrop of government investment in the South China power grid, a lucrative market for cables and components. As a gateway to this market in the Greater Bay Area, the fair will take place from 22 – 24 June to connect exhibitors with relevant buyers from across South China. In particular, this edition will turn its attention to the government’s New Infrastructure Policy with a focus on four main categories: intelligent cables, renewable energy cables, cable equipment and related products.

Final Report: Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2021 wraps up successfully

The 12th Wire and Cable Guangzhou closed its doors on a high note on 25th September at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. The three-day fair concluded with 220 exhibitors and 11,824 visitors in attendance. After the 2020 edition was deferred, industry peers were delighted to once again gather at the fairground to make face-to-face business connections and discover the latest products and technologies.

Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2021 opens on 23 September

The 12th Wire and Cable Guangzhou will open its doors from 23 – 25 September at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. The organisers have put necessary safety precautions in place to provide a safe and effective business platform for the industry. Last year’s fair was deferred due to the pandemic, peers are eager to once again gather at the fairground to reconnect and unlock business opportunities. The fair is welcoming approximately 220 exhibitors in the 18,000 sqm exhibition space.

Wire & Cable Guangzhou secures new dates for rescheduled event: 23 – 25 September 2021

With the pandemic in Guangzhou now under control, and the local government supporting the resumption of large scale events, the organisers of Wire and Cable Guangzhou have announced new show dates. The fair, which was previously postponed from its original dates in July, will now be held from 23 – 25 September at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, with approximately 250 exhibitors in attendance.

Following a hiatus in 2020 due to COVID-19, preparations are underway to welcome industry players from South China back to the China Import and Export Fair Complex this July. With vaccination progress accelerating and business sentiment improving, the fair is poised to give industry professionals the opportunity to re-establish business connections and find new sales partners.

Wire & Cable Guangzhou deffered to 2021

Due to the impact of COVID-19 on global industrial activity, and the corresponding impact on the wire and cable industry in Southern China, the organisers of Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2020 have deferred the fair to 2021, when the business circumstances are expected to be more stable. Originally scheduled to be held in June, then rescheduled to November due to COVID-19, the fair will now take place in 2021 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The exact dates for the 2021 show will be announced in due course.

Rescheduled Wire & Cable Guangzhou confirms new dates in November

Following the announcement from the Chinese State Council about the gradual resumption of large scale events nationwide, the organisers of Wire and Cable Guangzhou, the largest event of its kind in South China, have secured new dates for the 2020 edition. The fair, which was orignially scheduled in May, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now be held from 9 – 11 November at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China.

Wire and Cable Guangzhou reaffirms its position as an effective business platform as visitor figures rise by 14%

At the end of an eventful three days of business at Wire and Cable Guangzhou 2019, industry associations, exhibitors and trade buyers delivered a near unanimous verdict: the 11th edition provided effective coverage for the entire supply chain. From 11 – 13 June, 220 specialist manufacturers showcased their latest products to professional buyers from around the world. In fact, more than 26,400 trade visitors, up 14% from the previous edition (2018: 22,670), made their way to the China Import and Export Fair Complex to pursue their business objectives.

Wire & Cable Guangzhou is set to take place from 11 – 13 June 2019 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. Benefiting from the Belt and Road Initiative and China’s 13th Five-Year Plan, the 2019 show is projected to exceed the previous edition in terms of scale. Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2018 receives enthusiastic industry support from China Southern Power Grid

The 10th edition of Wire & Cable Guangzhou will take place from 11 – 13 June 2018 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou, China. Jointly organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd and Guangzhou BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd, the fair is held concurrently with Electric Power Asia. Collectively, the two exhibitions will showcase the most up-to-date wire, cable, optical fibre cables, machines as well as EV, power grid and telecommunications products. Wire & Cable Guangzhou is once again supported by China Southern Power Grid (CSPG). Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2017, organised by China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd, Guangzhou BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd, and Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, will return to the China Import and Export Fair Complex from 9 – 11 June. Last year, the show was attended by 350 companies and 18,869 visitors from 25 countries and regions, of which 3,700 buyers were from overseas.
