Wire & Cable Guangzhou deffered to 2021
Due to the impact of COVID-19 on global industrial activity, and the corresponding impact on the wire and cable industry in Southern China, the organisers of Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2020 have deferred the fair to 2021, when the business circumstances are expected to be more stable. Originally scheduled to be held in June, then rescheduled to November due to COVID-19, the fair will now take place in 2021 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The exact dates for the 2021 show will be announced in due course.
Rescheduled Wire & Cable Guangzhou confirms new dates in November
Following the announcement from the Chinese State Council about the gradual resumption of large scale events nationwide, the organisers of Wire and Cable Guangzhou, the largest event of its kind in South China, have secured new dates for the 2020 edition. The fair, which was orignially scheduled in May, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and will now be held from 9 – 11 November at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China.

Following the guidance put forward by the Chinese Government to prevent and control the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the 12th Wire & Cable Guangzhou, originally scheduled to be held from 27 – 29 May 2020 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou, China, will be postponed.

The 12th Wire & Cable Guangzhou will be held from 27 – 29 May 2020 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, China. The exhibition, jointly organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd and Guangzhou Boyou Exhibition Service Co Ltd, is a meltingpot for business and information exchange on issues such as intellegent manufacturing, railways, urban rail construction, building safety standards, 5G development and more. 250 exhibitors and 30,000 professional buyers are expected to participate in the 2020 exhibition, displaying wire and cabling for electrical power, building construction, transportation, property development and other fields.
Wire and Cable Guangzhou reaffirms its position as an effective business platform as visitor figures rise by 14%
At the end of an eventful three days of business at Wire and Cable Guangzhou 2019, industry associations, exhibitors and trade buyers delivered a near unanimous verdict: the 11th edition provided effective coverage for the entire supply chain. From 11 – 13 June, 220 specialist manufacturers showcased their latest products to professional buyers from around the world. In fact, more than 26,400 trade visitors, up 14% from the previous edition (2018: 22,670), made their way to the China Import and Export Fair Complex to pursue their business objectives.
